Pre-requisite Knowledge for Intermediate Location Shoots and Studio Workshops

People wishing to attend Intermediate Location Shoots and Studio Workshops must have completed the One Day Studio Workshop course or have sufficient prior knowledge. Unfortunately, and in fairness to the other participants, little time is available to explain the basic information of operating your own camera. You must be able to attach the trigger and go.

You must be able to:
• Set the camera to manual mode (and know why).
• Select appropriate shutter speed (and know what that is)
• Select appropriate ISO (and know what that is)
• Adjust colour balance (using grey card or presets)
• Adjust exposure with aperture (using grey card, flash meter, histogram or experience)

If you are not confident with any of these then you should do the One Day Studio Workshop which includes the use of the camera in manual mode and the considerations of studio lighting.

All participants must be over the age of 18 years.
